Powered by an inboard Yanmar Dmax 380 diesel engine connected to a Bravo leg gives this very light 9m rib a top speed of 62knts but yet economical to run. Maybe not your typical charter rib but it did ctach our eye at the Southampton boat show last month. Amoungst some of the other excellent ribs on display was the latest range of Ribcrafts, Rib Quests and of course the fantastic Redbay Stormforce super ribs.
We of course are a fan of the Stormforce rib as we currently have some being built for us over in Ireland. These 8.4m ribs are powered by the new Suzuki leanburn 300hp petrol outboards.
